Welcome to the UAE University - the first comprehensive national university in the United Arab Emirates. The UAE University was established in 1976 by the decision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and aspires to be a comprehensive research university. The number of students currently registered at the university is approximately 13,000 Emirati and international students.
